  • Are tutoring packages refundable?

    By proceeding with the purchase of an Organic Chemistry Tutoring Bundle, the student acknowledges and accepts that all sales are deemed final.

    It is the student's responsibility to use all of their sessions before the end of the semester.

    Refunds are available for unused hours only in the event of class withdrawal, and the refunded amount will be calculated based on the regular hourly rate, not the discounted bundle rate.

  • Can I send my tutor material to go over during our session in advance?

    Yes, it is encouraged to email us any practice problems or notes you would like to go over or provide for context in advance so we can take advantage of the entire session duration.

  • Which tutor will I be meeting with?

    Organic chemistry tutoring sessions are with Jess Jeffrey, a graduate of the University of Florida with a passion for making organic chemistry understandable for students no matter their history in chemistry.

  • Do you tutor outside of your regular hours?

    Send us an email to inquire about after-hours sessions.

    The rate for after-hours sessions in the evenings or weekends is 1.5x the regular rate.

  • Can I reserve the same tutoring time(s) every week?

    Yes, if you prefer to keep a consistent schedule, you can reserve the same tutoring time or times every week by purchasing a tutoring bundle.


    If you would like a custom quote for an entire semester, send us an email with the total number of hours you would like to meet.

  • Can we meet for a consultation before I book a tutoring session?

    No, tutors do not meet for consultation calls prior to the first session.

    If you have any questions, we’d be happy to answer them through email.

  • Will the link for the tutoring session be the same every time we meet?

    Yes, the Zoom meeting I.D. you receive in your Organic Chemistry Study Session confirmation email will be the same for every meeting.

  • Are tutoring sessions online or in person?

    Organic chemistry tutoring sessions are conducted online via Zoom.

  • Do you also tutor general chemistry?

    No, we only provide organic chemistry tutoring services.

  • What will we go over in our online organic chemistry tutoring sessions?

    The most common formats for our online tutoring sessions are:

    1. We work through practice questions from a worksheet, practice exam, or previous exam provided by the student through email or the appointment scheduling form

    2. The tutor teaches organic chemistry topics of the student’s choice in the style of a lecture that is understandable and approachable to students of all levels.
